About me

I’m Karin Sturzenegger. In my art, carefully chosen colours meet forms that bring their own stories.

I work with acrylics and watercolours and capture special moments in photographs. Lake Maggiore and the area around Brissago feature prominently in my photography. My animal portraits reveal a more personal part of my world.

An acrylic painting begins with an idea and a composition. New forms emerge as I paint; I pick them up and develop them. The titles and short stories invite you to discover each work through your own eyes.
